Interview questions
Since we are unable to take a look through a dyslexic's eyes, it is impossible to share their experiences. To give us an idea, we interviewed 50 Dutch dyslectics about their experiences with their handicaps.
- When did you discover you were dyslexic?
- What type of dyslexia do you have (dyslexia, dyspraxia or dyscalculia)?
- How did you find you were dyslexic?
- What does dyslexia mean for you?
- Does it bother you a lot?
- How do you experience dyslexia?
- Is the dyslexia reducing over the years or has there been no change?
- What problems do you experience? What can you do and what not?
- What do you know about dyslexia?
- Have you received a lot of help?
- What kind of help? (For example, a remedial teacher)
- Have you ever tested yourself?
- Do you have dyslexic relatives?
