Causes of dyslexia

Dyslexia has always existed, but only started to attract attention in children who started learning to read and write and was first examined in 1896.



Concerning the causes of dyslexia there is no scientific consensus. Researchers tend to agree on the following factors: The cause of dyslexia is usually related to the auditive codes. Dyslexics often show difficulty at quickly processing those.

Although dyslexia can be caused by brain damage, by far most of the dysletics are simply born with brain differences. There is no cure available, but it is possible to learn how to handle it better.
